Got the Christmas fries and it was so good. Proper chippy chips and the gravy was a good thickness and flavour was out of this world. Will definitely be back to try the fish and chips and beef burger!

While the word "gem" is often abused in eateries' reviews, I cannot find a better one here. It was delicious - both the smoked cod (luv its smell, taste and substance!) and the chips. Served by cheerful staff, priced very reasonably and fried promptly - there's nothing more you'd want from a proper takeaway parlour!

Take away, no wallies or pickled onions, but the fish and chips was great. Everything is fresh cooked so get your order in and collect or be prepared to wait. Very worth it though.

Went here after a days shopping and had never been here before but so glad we stopped here. The place was packed but it was a very fine Tuned cog of a place with everyone working very hard and fast and in unison with each other. Food was amazing and the running of the shop was unreal. Little gem of a place
